Field Manual

Glossary

The vocabulary of state, pressure, direction, and command.

The North Male uses a narrow vocabulary on purpose.

The point is not to sound clinical. The point is precision.

Body As Felt Frame

The body as the first place command can be felt. Fatigue, porn, scrolling, food, movement, and pain all shape the state before words appear.

Clean Action

Action that comes after the state is visible. Clean action can speak, wait, leave, build, or choose without trying to make uncertainty disappear.

Collapse

The moment internal organization gives way and behavior becomes an attempt to remove pressure. Collapse can look like chasing, distance, punishment, explanation, or performance.

Command

The ability to remain internally organized while desire, silence, ambiguity, status, money, conflict, ambition, or pressure is present. Command is not dominance. It is the refusal to hand the center of decision to the field.

Compass

The thing a man allows to organize his direction. When a woman's response, money pressure, status comparison, or conflict becomes the compass, his identity starts moving toward the field.

Desire Without Collapse

The ability to want without abandoning clean direction. Desire is clean. Collapse is not.

Half-Binding

A connection that stays warm enough for relief but unclear enough to keep pressure alive. Half-binding is not freedom. It is unresolved pressure with better language.

Identity Movement

The moment self-worth starts moving toward a reply, signal, approval, number, comparison, or outcome. Identity movement is the beginning of collapse.

Internal Reference

The place a man returns to before deciding. When internal reference is lost, the field becomes the center of his next move.

Mirror, Not Target

A signal from a woman can show a man his field. It does not automatically become permission, pursuit, or conquest.

Over-Investment

Giving more than the connection can hold because uncertainty has become intolerable. Over-investment is not care. It is often bargaining with pressure.

Polarity

The charge that appears when man and woman remain distinct enough to meet each other honestly. Polarity is not hierarchy. It is contact without collapse.

Polaris

The internal north of a man who does not let silence, status, money, conflict, beauty, rejection, or uncertainty become his direction. A man loses Polaris when his identity moves toward the field. He returns to Polaris when he can want without leaving himself.

Pressure

The internal force that appears when desire, status, money, conflict, ambition, or uncertainty starts moving the state. Pressure wants relief before it wants truth.

Relief

The short drop in tension after a man acts from pressure. Relief can feel like clarity, but it often keeps the pattern alive.

Signal

What behavior communicates when pressure arrives. A man's signal is not what he says about himself. It is what repeats when the outcome is open.

Silence

An absence of signal that exposes the state a man enters when the outcome stays open. Silence is not the enemy. It is information.

State

The internal condition a man enters before he acts. State shapes perception before strategy appears.

Structure

The daily conditions that make command easier to hold: sleep, work, body, attention, inputs, and clean decisions. Structure is not decoration. It trains state.

The Collapsing State

The state where identity moves toward the response, number, signal, outcome, or field. It no longer informs him. It carries him.

The Explaining State

The state where language becomes a tool for removing uncertainty. The second explanation is rarely just clarity.

The Monitoring State

The state where attention turns into surveillance. Checking gives relief, not command.

The Proving State

The state where value becomes an audition. A man starts performing worth because silence has made him feel replaceable.

The Punishing State

The state where distance is used to make her feel the pressure he cannot hold. It can look like command. Often, it is collapse with better posture.

The Rescuing State

The state where usefulness becomes a way to feel safe. He becomes needed so he does not have to feel uncertain.

The Waiting State

The state where a reply becomes the condition for returning to yourself. You are not waiting for her response. You are waiting for your state to settle.
